Prawn Fry

I made prawn briyani,i didnt want to use the whole prawn,i had tried prawn fries before it was delicious.I tried to recreate and it turned awesome.If you marinate for long time ,the prawn taste delicious.I have used cooked and peeled prawns.

Take care not to fry them for too long as they might turn hard,fry till golden in a medium flame.Perfect as a snack or for rasam rice.



To Clean
  1. TurmericPowder-1/4 tsp
  2. Lemon- 1/2 tsp
Add turmeric  powder and lemon to the  prawn and leave it for 15min.Wash it 2-3 times so the odor leaves.

To Marinate Ingredients
  1. Prawn-washed peeled and cooked 
  2. ChilliPowder- 2 tsp
  3. TurmericPowder-1/4 tsp
  4. Ginger&Garlic Paste- 1 tsp
  5. Besan Powder-1 tsp
  6. Rice flour-2tsp
  7. Corn flour- 1 tsp
  8. Salt as needed
  9. Pepper pwd-1/4 tsp
  10. Garam masala-1/4 tsp
  11. Curryleaves-10 leaves
Ingredients
  1. Oil for frying 




Method
  1. Marinate the prawn with ingredients  mentioned under marination for 15min atleast.
  2. Heat oil in a kadai ,add prawns little by little and fry in medium flame until golden for 2min,dont fry for too long else it will get hard.
  3. Serve hot as snack with ketchup or rasam rice .

  10. Adore this prawn fry and yes to be eaten with rasam. I can imagine the lovely taste once mashed into rice and drizzled with rasam over.
