Ingredients
- Green Moong dhall- 1 cup
- Onion-1 ,chopped
- Tomato-2 ,chopped
- ginger&garlic paste - 1 tsp
- Green chilly - 1 ,chopped
- Red chilly powder - 1/4 tsp
- Turmeric Powder-1/4 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Whole Jeera-1/4 tsp
- Oil
Method.
- Wash the green moong dhall and cook in 3 cups of water,till completely cooked.
- Heat oil in a kadai,add the jeera when it splutters add the onion and saute it well for 3 min in medium flame.
- Add the ginger &garlic paste and saute it for 1 min.
- Now add the redchiily pwd,turmeric pwd,salt,tomato and saute till it gets mushy.
- Add the the cooked green moong dhall and add a cup of water.
- Let it boil in medium flame for 8min till the everything gets mixed well.
- Garnish with corinader leaves,serve hot with roti.
this is my all time fav food..love to eat with chapathi and rice..love your style of preparation. Also like your green moong dal presentation, it resembles like India map...
