Microwave Kalakand

I have made this recipe  before it was an instant hit.I made it again for a party again , everybody loved it.This can be easily made in 20minutes,with ingredients in hand. This tastes yummy ,even the kids liked it.It is very easy  recipe for even an beginner to even make it.It is not too heavy or buttery.

Serves - 8 people

  Ingredients

  1. Ricotta Cheese - 1cup
  2. Sugar - 1 1/2 cup
  3. Milk Powder - 2 cup
  4. Butter - 1/4 cup
  5. Almond - 20 nos,chopped finely

Method

  1. Take a microwave bowl, add the ricotta cheese, sugar, milk powder n butter n stir them continuously until the cheese gets well mixed, this may looks as creamy paste.
  2. Keep the microwave in high temperature for 5 minutes n cook this milk mixture, they may doubled their volume, stir them once.
  3. Keep again in high temperature for 9 minutes n cook again.
  4. Keep an eye while doing this, u may see the milk mixture might have turned slightly brownish color at the edges..
  5. Now transfer to a flat dish r plate, sprinkle the finely chopped almond  pieces on the top.
  6. Keep aside n let them cool.
  7. Once they r cooled cut them any shape as u wish , store in airtight container.
  8. Can store them for  2 day in room temperature.

Tip

  • When the sides turn slightly brown , take it away ,else it turns more brown.
  • The color changes to brown soon so keep on watching .
  • Each microwave time is different so if you need more time increase it.
  • When the ghee starts oozing completely ,it is ready ,you can take it.
  • I have not made it squares ,you can make it if you want too.
